By connecting the unconnected (industry and unemployed youth), SRF Foundation runs a Vocational Skills Training programme meeting the needs of both ends by creating employment opportunities for unemployed in the age group 18 to 30 years and providing skilled manpower to the industry. Aiming to produce 300 skilled manpower in a year at each of the training centres, SRF Foundation laid the foundation for first centre at Manali, Chennai and it is expected to become operatational from November 2010.

Additionally, the Foundation is also involved in running the vocational skills program targeting the spread of unemployed youths in villages under the MREP.
